
Dan Price began his career in Financial Management 35 years ago. He has received three degrees in the fields of Business Administration and Accounting. In 1982, after achieving a 3.9+ GPA, Dan was asked to join the Delta Mu Delta International honor society in business. In 1983, he began his work in Public Accounting, performing audits and preparing tax returns of HUD housing projects, churches, private schools, and various other 501c3 organizations.
Mr. Price has also worked in finance, accounting, contract negotiation, & IT departments of such entities as Wallace Consulting, the US Air Force, Rollins Inc, Coca-Cola, DCT Systems Group (At the time, the largest IBM, Compaq & Apple distributer in the Country), Robert Bosch, Nissan, Subaru, Motorola, Freescale, and others. He has many years experience in estate planning for complex estates including up to ten legal entities, family limited partnerships and other corporate entities. Mr. Price has provided his expertise on real estate ventures in 13 states with a combined value of $6 billion.
In April of 2002, he was elected to the Board of Directors of Motorola Employees Credit Union – West. During his tenure the credit union was converted from an employer-chartered entity to a community- chartered Credit Union called TruWest Credit Union. Mr. Price also served several terms as the Chairman of the Boards Asset / Liability Committee. In this role, he was directly responsible for is $850 million in Assets and Liabilities – including ensuring adequate liquidity & overseeing the Credit Union’s bond investment portfolio.
Mr. Price has earned several financial credentials and awards including being a charter - Certified Financial Manager. He was recognized for his achievement in financial education and was awarded the Dora Maxwell award by the Credit Union National Association. Mr. Price has completed 2500 hours of continuing education since completing his degrees and is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accounting.
